There is a chapter about this in my upcoming documentary. When it comes out ( if I ever get time to finish it!) you might think I’m copying from you… I’m not.

Think about how when you were a slightly older child when you deliberately ignored all of the evidence that there was no Santa Claus. How did Santa Claus get down OUR chimney when we don’t have a chimney? Nobody has chimneys anymore.

If Santa’s elves made our toys in his North Pole factory, why do they come in commercially produced packages, we could SEE the UPC code on the boxes. We could SEE the thumbnail-scraped off price tags from local department stores.

Why were the name tags ( “FROM: Santa TO: Matt” ) written in your mothers handwriting?

Why did Santa look a little different at every department store we saw him in?
Why was Santa’s backstory significantly different in all of the animated/stop motion Christmas specials?

Why did Santa give more expensive presents to the rich kids than poor kids?
WHY did we ignore all the signs of deceit and dishonesty that were right in front of us?
Because we WANTED to believe.

Now- this argument goes both ways. It could be used to bolster up both the Conspiracy arguments and the Lone Gunman arguments:
“WHY did we ignore all the signs of deceit and dishonesty that were right in front of us?”

I don’t call JFKA conspiracy theorists “dumb” or ignorant. I think most are VERY well read on ONE side of this issue.
